The children’s clubs were formed after a series of ‘open airs’ in two places of Alba Iulia, Ampoi and Chicago.
Chicago is an especially poor area of Alba Iulia with roaming rival gangs, drug taking and prostitution. Two of the girls that used to come to the Baptist church club have had babies at a very early age. Prospects for this area look bleak!!
Every week we send a mini bus to collect the children and take them to either one club or the other. In total both clubs see approxametly 70+ children per week and it could be more if we had a larger team.
Please pray for more workers and that both Churches ‘catch the vision’ and see this as an important part of God’s work.
