Brazil

In a little city, where many go to use drugs, permission was granted for the first time to use the centre plaza for evangelism. Many youg people came to see the programme, with none leaving. One official said, 'When you want to come back to our city, you can use the plaza for anything you need. We need help!'

In Rio de Janeiro, university students came to an open air on their campus and heard the gospel. Many responded to receive Christ as Saviour. An Education Director in the city of Petropolis opened the door for OAC to hold programmes in 130 schools. Jose, one of our evangelists, says, 'We have a programme about drugs and then we give them the way to be free from drugs through Jesus.' Two teachers in one school came up after the message and said, 'We need jesus in our lives.' In another school, the principal said, 'Don't abandon us, we need your help!' Even the TV News Channel came to record an assembly and to interview Jose.
