Just south of the Chinese border in NE India, OAC is establishing its latest branch of ministry in the state of Assam. Here 27 million people live, of which 65% are Hindus, and 31% are Muslims. Most people in the Hindu villages will come to our open air film meetings and will listen to an illustrated gospel message. For many, if not all, it is the first time they have heard that salvation is by grace through faith in the risen Christ, rather than having to pass through numerous cycles of reincarnation without any assurance of gaining eternal life. Many throng our evangelists afterwards for decision booklets and later many cards arrive in the mail requesting our free Bible Correspondance Course. As students study God's word, some come to faith in Christ. A pastor from another village returns for follow up.
