It used to be that Jose, our Brazilian director, had to work very hard asking principals of public schools for assemblies. Now they call him, keeping his staff very busy with a full schedule. Through drama, video clips and illustrated gospel messages, they are presenting the gospel to mainly high school students.
Thier presentation is on the dangers of drugs and the new life in Christ.One day, a mother of a student saw the booklet that her son had been given after the programme and came to the church where the OAC staff attend. She asked for help for her son. They found a christian clinic that works with drug addicts and two months later she showed them a letter that he had written. he told of how his life had been changed through receiving Christ and how he wanted to talk with her about God. Many thousands are being reached through these school assemblies, as well as through their open air ministry.
