When Wes was training Religious Education teachers for public schools, one of them said, "Do you remember me? You came to my high school back in the 70s and that's when I became a christian." Now she is going into schools telling children about Jesus.
On another occasion, a lady came to Wes before a church service and said, "I learnt a lot from your training course a few years ago. It helped me in my Religious Education teaching in schools. When are you running the next one?" Later in the service, a teenage girl shared "My parents aren't christians and didn't go to church, but when I was in grade 7 I had the most awesome RE teacher who loved and taught us about Jesus." That girl is now a committed christian and is actively involved in a local church. And the RE teacher? Yes, she's the one who spoke to Wes before the church service.
