We teamed up with the Emmanuel Bible Baptist church from Tandapi. When we were giving instructions, about what to do when the people came to the front to receive Christ, one member said “Nobody will come forward. This town is hard-hearted”. It began to rain heavily but the people kept on coming, and halfway through the movie some 200 people had been counted.
I finished with an altar call but nobody came forward. I actually began to think the member was right, that the people here were hard-hearted. Unexpectedly, a man aged about 40 years old got up and came forward. Then, one after another, people came forward and soon there were 50 people wanting to commit their lives to Jesus.
“The nets were ripping.” God was saying to us “Didn’t I tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?” God showed us that night, that there are no hard-hearted people that He couldn’t touch.
