News in brief….

"BIBLICAL PATTERNS OF EVANGELISM" Korky Davey’s first book has had 30,000 "hits" in its first two years, and at the moment is running at about 700 a month. Apparently most readers are third world people and will include many of our trainees in the Ukraine and Russia, some of whom are planting one or two churches a year through their street ministry. It's also a set book on evangelism in the Baptist Seminary in North Carolina. http://www.korky.info

EVANGELISM CAMPAIGN through Slovakia, July-August 2005 We went to several towns and every evangelism meeting was different. We also could experience that God is the same and he is doing his mighty work by his way. Every day we went to another town. In the afternoon we started with evangelism for children and in the evening was 3-4 hours of evangelism for adults, testimonies, Christian singing groups on the stage and personal talks with people who were there.

TRUCELESS WARFARE STORY OF THE MONTH During June, we once again conducted our annual open-air training seminars. These practical sessions of evangelism training and ministry outreach were held in Pennsylvania hosted by the Lancaster Bible College and in the Boston area hosted by our OAC branch and area workers. One of our associate workers had this to say: "I was blessed to work with the team as they visited Philly for one day. The guys preached the gospel with much boldness in Centre City on Market Street . A fellow named Paul Royal left one of these meetings and I spoke to him about Jesus. He gave his life to Jesus right then and there! He told me, "God brought you here to talk to me." Later on, the team worked in four neighbourhoods. The team that I was with did an excellent job sharing the gospel with the children." It's truly exciting being part of a world-wide family active in equipping God's people to do God's work. Here is what one of the seminar students said: "I learned a lot and it was great to get to know you. It really encouraged me to meet a bunch of guys that actually did evangelism, not just talk about it."

MOLDAVIA MINISTRY We were invited by the Baptist Church in Belzy where Sergej is responsible for the Sunday School. Belzy has 165,000 inhabitants. It is one of the biggest cities of the country and is almost totally influenced by Russian civilisation. The church has about 1,000 members. Beside sermon ministries in different churches, a programme for youths and a ministry in an orphanage I had two seminars on sketch board evangelism.
