Our beloved country has been going through some real challenging times politically in the past few months and also facing some tough times economically. A lot of people are finding it hard to meet their basic needs BUT the doors of opportunity to preach the gospel in the open air and in the schools is still there. There is a real hunger and thirst amongst the people for GOD, and many of them are searching for reality and hope. Our OAC staff continue to have good crowds listening to the gospel in their open-air meetings. Those who respond openly and seek counselling are asking really deep and meaningful questions about GOD and eternity. A good number of them trusted Christ as their LORD and Saviour. In the schools and children's clubs, children eagerly listen to stories from the Bible being told by our staff, and so many of them willingly participate in the programmes. The harvest is certainly ready and plentiful. Please pray with and for us so that GOD will release more workers and resources in order for us to gather in the harvest more effectively.
Open-Air preaching continues to be held on Thursdays and Fridays, weather permitting. Listeners are challenged and led to pray and receive the Lord Jesus as their Savior and Lord. They are, also, encouraged to join a Bible-believing church/fellowship in order to help them to grow spiritually.
In schools, we are taking weekly Scripture lessons in each of the four classes 1 4 in one of the primary schools in Suva. We are praying that there will be more workers and more primary schools opening their doors for this arm of the ministry.
