OAC has for a number of years been involved in short-term training opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa. These were largely carried out by evangelists from Britain, but also from other lands such as Belgium. In addition, some of these efforts have led to regular ministry opportunities and openings for the establishment of permanent ministry bases, notably in Nigeria. However, due both to the nature of OAC and the characteristics of Africa and the churches, it has not yet been possible to establish such an on-going ministry, except in two countries to date.
However, just such an open door is currently wide in Uganda. Since 2000, OAC GB evangelist Korky Davey and his team have regularly been involved in training evangelists and school and children's workers.
The national branch is led by 'Romans', a man of many gifts and yet whose heart is in evangelism. He is supported by a team of schools workers led by Tabitha.
