Surrounded by Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil this landlocked nation of over 10 million inhabitants is considered one of the poorest and least developed countries in Latin America. Bolivia also ranks nearly at the bottom among South American nations in areas of health care, education, fertility, malnutrition, mortality and life expectancy. In comparison with other nations Bolivia’s income inequality is one of the highest.

OACI in Bolivia

In August 2013 the work of OACI was started in Bolivia by a young Brazilian missionary couple named Robson & Cris Silva. The doors for sharing the gospel are wide open and our evangelists have done various outreaches in schools, plazas, and even in universities. Open air markets are very common in many parts of the cities and create the perfect environment to conduct our ministry.

It is amazing to see how the Bolivians are thirsty for God’s Word, because in each place where the message of the cross is preached, huge crowds are formed and remain until the end of the presentation. The fields in this country are ready for harvest!
